To round off National Countryside Week 2018, the team from the Fund decamped to the beautiful Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire to join in the fun at BBC Countryfile Live
With the help of Udo Sport, the Fund ran its successful ‘Country Mile’ activity – a 6075 foot walk through the beautiful grounds of Blenheim, where people could prove that they’d go the extra distance for the countryside. We were delighted that Countryfile star, Anita Rani, joined us on the Thursday to officially open this year’s event!
The Fund was also thrilled to be supported by our latest corporate partners, Aldi, who joined us on our stand to tell members of the public about their work supporting British farming, and handing out free fruit to visitors.
We’d like to say a big thank you to the more than 3000 of you who walked our Country Mile, and helped us to raise over £1200 to support our work!
We rely on your donations to support rural lives and keep British farming and village communities sustainable
