Launch of the PCF Strategy in Scotland
October 19, 2021
We were thrilled to launch our new three-year strategy in Edinburgh with thanks to Johnston Carmichael who hosted the event on 14 October.
At the event, we heard from members of the Johnston Carmichael team as well as from PCF Trustee, Lord Jamie Lindsay and our Executive Director, Keith Halstead who talked through the PCF’s strategic plan for the next three years and our vision of family farms and rural communities that fulfil their role in creating a sustainable future for the countryside and our whole nation. Within the plan, our work falls under three strategic pillars: enabling family farms to thrive, building confident rural communities and inspiring support, and is informed by our three values: practical, collaborative and empowering.
Keith’s presentation was followed by lots of chatter about rural Scotland between the guests. Our thanks to Alexander Manson, Chair, and Jenn Stewart, Head of Rural, at Johnston Carmichael for their hospitality and help in hosting the event. We are looking forward to launching our strategy in Northern Ireland, England and Wales later this year and in early 2022!
