We understand that the environment and landscape are intrinsically linked to and shaped by the people who manage our land, farmers, and those individuals are key to the successful revitalisation of our natural environment.

Farm businesses can provide so many solutions to the huge challenges facing our nation, around food security, health and wellbeing, and of course carbon reduction and improving biodiversity, but to deliver these, they need support and advice, access to new funding opportunities and the ability to work together at a local and landscape level.

This series of programmes and workshops will help family farms move towards sustainable or regenerative farming based on a sound business model so that it is an attractive and realistic proposition for all farm businesses, that if achieved, can instigate real environmental change at a landscape level.

This generous funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery will go such a long way towards delivering our overarching aim of enabling profitable family farm businesses that contribute to a diverse farming sector in the UK delivering high-quality food, environmental outcomes and a vibrant rural economy.

I extend our deepest gratitude to the players of People’s Postcode Lottery and the Earth Postcode Trust for this incredible opportunity. Their support reflects a shared vision for a sustainable agricultural sector and a thriving countryside.
