Farm Support Group Seminar Series December Update
December 14, 2020
The Prince’s Countryside Fund is running new monthly seminars as part of the Farm Support Group Initiative. These are a great opportunity to get everyone together, hear all about what other Farm Support Groups are up to and ‘Meet the funders’.
This month, there have been two seminars. On December 2, the seminar attendees heard from Katherine Williams (Exmoor Hill Farming Network) and Edward Richardson (Farm Cornwall) about their work in the south west.
Diane, our Farm Support Coordinator said: “It was wonderful to have so many Farm Support Groups attend the first session of our 60-minute seminars programme. The sharing of knowledge and information about the groups and subsequent collaboration is something we seek to prioritise over the coming months as it is immensely valuable.”
On December 8, Fiona Hoggard presented ‘A guide to developing projects: how to create a robust case for support in order to get project sign off and to have the resources to secure funding’.
The Prince’s Countryside Fund would like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund for making this work possible.
