Miranda Hart
Miranda Hart is a comedian, writer and actress. She is best known for her award-winning BBC sitcom, Miranda. Her status as one of the UK’s leading actresses was consolidated with her much-loved role, Chummy, in the hit BBC 1 drama series Call the Midwife. She has also appeared in films such as Spy, alongside Melissa McCarthy, and Emma alongside Bill Nighy. Miranda is also an author and her first book, Is It Just Me?, was the biggest selling non-fiction hardback of its publication year, winning Non-Fiction Book of the Year at The National Book Awards. Her second book, Peggy and Me, came out in October 2016 and her first children’s novel, The Girl With The Lost Smile, in October 2017.
She has recently published a memoir called I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest with You about what she learnt living with chronic illness. She is passionate about the outdoors anyway, but now ever more so since understanding evidence-based research of the holistic healing of nature.
