Celebrating Routes to Regen at the Sandringham Estate

Routes to Regen is a free programme led by members of the Sustainable Markets Initiative and The Royal Countryside Fund. Its aim is to simplify the often complex landscape of sustainability by providing a whole-farm approach, tailored to the needs of each farmer.

It gives farmers access to a carefully curated menu of resources and opportunities, provided by leading food and finance businesses, to help them on their route to regenerative farming.

While at the estate, we had the opportunity to bring together many of the farmers and businesses who have been involved. We discussed the pilot’s first year, what went well, what could be improved, and how it can better meet farmer’s needs.

We then went on a farm walk and heard from Farm Manager, Ted Holmes about Sandringham’s own sustainable farming practices and conservation management.

We look forward to sharing more about the future of Routes to Regen, and our thanks to all the farmers who took part and shaped the success of its first year!
