A real future
for rural Britain.

When our countryside thrives, we all do. But right now, farming families and rural communities are worried about their future. With your help, we can make a real difference.

How we help

For over 15 years The Royal Countryside Fund has worked alongside farming families and rural communities across the UK to provide the support, funding, and opportunities they need to thrive.

How you can help

HM King Charles III, Royal Founding Patron of the RCF

"This Fund is about caring for the people who look after our countryside, whether they be farmers or those living and working in villages across the country – these are the people who make the countryside tick. The Countryside Fund is giving people and communities real opportunities to succeed."

Alan Titchmarsh, RCF Ambassador

“The Royal Countryside Fund is appreciated at that grassroots, practical level. It’s turned around lives and saved countryside. There is a real and practical benefit from the RCF. It’s not just intention, it’s actually achievement.”

Louise Skelly, a farmer from Northern Ireland who took part in our Farm Resilience Programme

“At the end of the day, a farm has to be sustainable financially as well as environmentally. Although we own our farm, we’re only temporarily here, and it’s important to look after what we have for whoever comes after you.”

Making a difference

From thriving farming families to resilient rural communities, we can demonstrate that local support really does have a national impact.
