The RCF announces new support for Cornish farming families at the Royal Cornwall Show
The RCF team had the great pleasure of launching new support for Cornish farming families at the Royal Cornwall Show this week.
Starting in autumn 2026, we will be running our flagship Farm Resilience Programme in Cornwall, with the support of local Farm Support Group and trusted partner, Farm Cornwall.
We joined the Farm Cornwall team on their stand at the show to promote the Farm Resilience Programme and speak directly to Cornish farmers.
Our Farm Resilience Programme started in 2016 with the whole farm and whole family in mind. The free business and environmental training helps farming families get a better handle on their finances and build confidence for the future of their farm.
As part of the programme, farmers will receive a tailored business health check, and three practical workshops that help them:
- Make sense of what’s changing.
- Explore current and future business and environmental opportunities.
- Build a practical plan that suits their short-term goals and long-term business strategy.

The show was also a valuable opportunity to meet with supporters and funders, including Saputo Dairy, which has contributed over £1 million to The Royal Countryside Fund since 2010, creating a profound impact across every area of our work.
Since 2014, the RCF logo has proudly featured on Saputo products, including Davidstow cheddar and Country Life butter. Their long-term commitment remains a cornerstone of our ability to champion and protect the British countryside.

The RCF team also attended a launch event for RABI’s new FarmersAid app, which provides step-by-step guidance for serious medical emergencies and accidents for farmers.
