Our partners
The Royal Countryside Fund partners with organisations that share our vision of a confident, thriving and sustainable agricultural sector, fit to support future generations. We are incredibly grateful to have a portfolio of dedicated and generous corporate partners, all of whom have a direct connection to, and passion for, the British countryside and farming communities.
Why partner with The Royal Countryside Fund?
A partnership with us demonstrates a brand’s awareness of the challenges facing our countryside, and exemplifies a commitment to improving the lives of those living and working in rural Britain.
There are many ways companies can work with us to deliver mutual benefits for both organisations, including logo licensing, employee fundraising, event sponsorship or support of a specific programme or workstream.

Our corporate partners
Aldi
Since 2018, Aldi and the RCF have been planting the seeds for a more resilient British farming future! Through our Farm Resilience Programme and the game-changing Opening the Gate initiative, we’re breaking down barriers and opening doors for the next generation of agricultural trailblazers. By hosting virtual workshops designed for those from non-farming backgrounds, we’re proving that you don’t need a family history in the field to grow a career in the industry. Together, we’re making sure British farming stays vibrant, inclusive, and ready for whatever the future yields!
Barbour
Since 2013, we’ve shared a journey with Barbour that has grown from traditional donations into a deep-rooted, hands-on collaboration! Since 2013, this iconic brand has backed the RCF through the Barbour Foundation, but lately, we’ve taken things to the next level. Whether they’re securing donations by breathing new life into classic coats at our Northumberland Show rewaxing tent or hosting exclusive jacket auctions, Barbour is all-in on protecting our countryside. In 2023, we joined forces to launch a pioneering biodiversity programme right in the heart of Northumberland. It’s heritage meets habitat, and we’re just getting started!
Berry Bros. & Rudd
Raising a glass to a greener future, Berry Bros. & Rudd have been spirited supporters of the RCF since 2020! This partnership flows far beyond the cellar, with 10% of profits from every bottle of The King’s Ginger Liqueur going directly toward supporting our rural communities. From hosting our prestigious annual Journal launch to orchestrating standout fundraising events, they bring high spirits to everything we do. It’s a classic collaboration that proves great taste and great causes are the perfect pairing!
Booths
Booths are more than just long-term supporters; they are true champions of the RCF across the North and beyond! From putting our logo on the favorite local products to bringing the field to the fork with their ‘Booths at the Farm’ events, they’re all about celebrating the incredible provenance of British food. We’ve even been cooking up something special in their cafes lately, with £1 from every Booths Breakfast fry-up going directly to support our rural communities. It’s a partnership built on shared values, great food, and a deep-rooted commitment to the farmers who keep our plates full!
Clarence Court
Since 2023, premium egg producer Clarence Court has been supporting the long-term viability of British farming through a dedicated sales initiative. By featuring the RCF logo on their packaging and donating a percentage of proceeds from every pack of Burford Brown and Leghorn White eggs sold, the brand provides essential funding for the RCF’s grants and rural resilience programs. This collaboration directly links consumer purchases to the preservation of family farms and the protection of the UK’s rural economy.
Denhay
In 2024, Denhay Farms Ltd expanded its commitment to British agriculture by joining as a corporate partner. Central to this partnership is the use of logo licensing across their award-winning SpoiltPig bacon range, where the RCF logo is prominently displayed on packaging to signify the brand’s support. Through this initiative, Denhay ensures that every purchase of SpoiltPig bacon directly helps family farms and rural communities across the UK build a more resilient and sustainable future.
Hilton Food Group
In 2025, Hilton joined as one of the newest corporate partners for the Farm Resilience Programme. This specific funding structure means Hilton’s contributions provides family farm businesses with vital training in business management, environmental skills, and economic planning. By supporting this initiative, Hilton plays a direct role in helping UK farmers navigate the complexities of the agricultural transition, ensuring they have the tools to remain viable and sustainable for future generations.
Marks & Spencer
Our partnership with Marks & Spencer began with a one-off contribution in 2010 followed by dedicated support since 2015. Through their reliable annual donations, M&S plays a vital role in sustaining our core mission to protect the UK’s unique rural landscape. This long-term partnership is a key part of their commitment to a resilient British supply chain, providing the essential funding needed to help family farms and rural communities thrive for generations to come.
McDonald’s UK & Ireland
Since 2020, McDonald’s UK & Ireland has been a powerhouse partner, anchoring their commitment with the transformative Ready for Change programme to help farm businesses navigate industry shifts. This dynamic collaboration has produced essential industry resources, including the A-Zero environmental guide, launched by HM King Charles III, and The Great Grazing Guide, created to combat rising input costs. Most recently, our joint Savings in Soils initiative has spent three years delivering practical, on-the-ground solutions for soil health. By combining high-profile advocacy with technical expertise, McDonald’s and the RCF are ensuring British farmers have the tools, jargon-free guidance, and financial resilience to thrive in a changing landscape.
Alistair Macrow, Chief Executive Officer, McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “Sustainability is front of mind at McDonald’s, which is why we have supported the Royal Countryside Fund’s Savings in Soil programme for the last three years to help farmers deliver environmental benefits, protect their farms from extreme weather, and maintain their soil for generations to come. Soil is at the heart of so much of what farmers do and we know how important good soil health is to the farmers we work with.
“As part of our sustainability strategy, Plan for Change, we have committed to becoming net-zero carbon – including across our supply chain – by 2040. We’re proud to work with The Royal Countryside Fund to provide farmers with the support they need to remain resilient to the evolving challenges they face.”
Keith Halstead, Executive Director, The Royal Countryside Fund, said: “At The Royal Countryside Fund, we want to see a thriving countryside, and productive farms that work in harmony with nature. Our Savings in Soil programme, run with the valuable support of McDonald’s, has already helped farmers to measure and monitor the health of their soil, and improve its quality, which is a vital part of this work.”
Morrisons
Since 2016, Morrisons has been a landmark partner for The Royal Countryside Fund, enabling us to establish our flagship Farm Resilience Programme. Following this, our partnership has only deepened with Morrisons now sponsoring two regional groups annually to provide vital business support to farming families. Beyond financial resilience, Morrisons also champions our Carbon Clarity programme, providing farmers with expert group workshops and bespoke one-to-one guidance to reduce emissions and maximise carbon capture. This enduring collaboration ensures that British farmers are not only business-ready but environmentally prepared for the future of sustainable agriculture.
Samworth Brothers
Samworth Brothers has been a dedicated supporter of The Royal Countryside Fund since 2012, maintaining a steadfast commitment to the future of British agriculture for over a decade. Their annual donation provides consistent, reliable funding for our essential rural initiatives and ability to deliver long-term impact.
Saputo Dairy
As one of our most significant and enduring corporate partners, Saputo Dairy UK has contributed over £1 million to The Royal Countryside Fund since 2010, creating a profound impact across every area of our work. This deep-rooted collaboration is highly visible to consumers; since 2014, our logo has proudly featured on household favourites including Davidstow cheddar and Country Life butter. Beyond financial contributions, Saputo has been a dynamic advocate for our cause, spearheading joint marketing campaigns with Milk & More and providing essential support for our flagship summer activation, National Countryside Week. Their long-term commitment remains a cornerstone of our ability to champion and protect the British countryside.
Waitrose
As a founding partner of The Royal Countryside Fund, Waitrose & Partners has been instrumental to our success since our inception in 2010. While our early collaboration focused on high-profile logo placement on fresh milk, the partnership has evolved into a deeply strategic alliance centred on direct community impact. Since 2022, Waitrose has significantly bolstered our rural grants programme, providing generous annual contributions that fund vital Farm Support Grants. Furthermore, until 2025, they exclusively sponsored our Happiness Grants, committing £150,000 annually to support grassroots projects that tackle isolation and improve well-being in rural areas. This enduring commitment ensures that Waitrose remains a cornerstone of our mission to help those most in need across the British countryside.

Our Corporate Membership scheme brings together businesses with a deep connection to rural Britain, providing an entry point to supporting The Royal Countryside Fund over a period of three years. Through this scheme, we are creating a network of supporters to become a part of our vision of a thriving countryside – a living landscape of working family farms and prosperous rural life.
