The project: Lesbury Community Shop is a community-owned and run, non-profit-taking, village shop and provider of community-focused services in Northumberland.
In 2025, we awarded the organisation £19,365 to allow the shop to create a complete annual event program, with dedicated days to support local charities, groups and craftspeople.

“The Guide will help boost footfall and income for our shop. Also, we believe the Guide will be invaluable for similar enterprises around the country – they can gain similar benefits by ‘following the recipes’.”
