Biodiversity

Boosting biodiversity

All farms rely on the natural environment. Our work focuses on promoting productive agriculture that is in harmony with Nature.

Through workshops and farm visits, we want to help farmers better understand the environmental opportunities available to them and the practical actions that they can take now to boost biodiversity on their farms, while still benefitting their farm business.

Our guide to trees on farms

Written with Geraint Richards OBE MVO FICFor, Head Forester to the Duchy of Cornwall and to His Majesty The King, Trees on Farm shares stories from farmers across the UK who are proving how trees can boost profitability whilst improving resilience against the climate crisis.

There are many benefits that trees can offer family farm businesses, including:

  1. New income streams.
  2. Improved livestock health and wellbeing.
  3. Improved soil health.
